Apple Pie Oats

Skip the plain boring oats, these apple pie oats are super quick and taste incredible!

 
 

Ingredients:

1/2 Cup of Oats

1 Cup of water (can be replaced with milk)

pinch of salt

1/2 Cup Chopped Apples

1 Teaspoon Maple Syrup

Cinnamon

vanilla extract (optional)

1 teaspoon chia seeds

Directions:

Step #1:

Pour the oats into a microwave safe bowl with the water and a pinch of salt and microwave the oats for 2 minutes. (if you don't have a microwave you can cook it on a stove as well for about 4-5 minutes)

Step #2:

while your oats are cooking pour your 1/2 cup of chopped apples into a pan and heat on medium heat with the maple syrup and a sprinkle of cinnamon until your apples are warm and softened.

Step #3:

After your oats are ready mix in a sprinkle of cinnamon and a splash of vanilla extract.

Step #4:

top your oats with your cooked apple slices and a teaspoon of chia seeds
