Coffee Cake
This coffee cake is the perfect treat to have along with your morning coffee. Using only a few ingredients, make this delicious tasting and smelling loaf for yourself and maybe even your family and friends if you feel like sharing it ;)
Ingredients:
Dry ingredients:
1 cup whole wheat flour - can be substituted with white all purpose flour or even oat flour
1/4 cup brown swerve substitute - can be subbed with regular brown sugar or a different sugar substitute
1 1/4 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
Wet ingredients:
3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 egg
1/4 cup vanilla greek yogurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup almond milk
Topping:
2 tbsp brown swerve substitute - can be subbed with regular brown sugar or a different sugar substitute
2 tbsp almond flour
3/4 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Step#1:
Preheat your oven to 350°F
Step#2:
Combine the dry ingredients and wet ingredients into separate bowls, then fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.
Step#3:
In a small bowl mix together the topping ingredients.
Step#4:
Lightly spray a loaf pan and pour in your batter, then top it with the crumble topping
