Double chocolate Chip Protein Pancakes
These double chocolate protein pancakes are super chocolatey and a high in protein!
Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 Egg
1 Scoop Chocolate Whey Protein
1/4 tsp Baking powder
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tbsp Cacao Powder
1 Tbsp Oat Flour
Dark chocolate chips - (I used about 1 tbsp of Sugar Free Baking Chips)
For on top:
2 Tbsp Sugar Free Maple Syrup - can be substituted for pure maple syrup
Directions:
Step #1:
Mash banana well with a fork.
Step #2:
Combine the mashed banana with all of the other ingredients accept for the chocolate chips.
Step #3:
Heat up a non stick pan (grease pan with a spray of oil if necessary) and pour in the amount you want each pancake to have. Then, quickly place a few chocolate chips in the pancake.
Step #4:
Flip the pancakes when bubbles begin to form and some start to pop and cook on the other side until it is browned.
Step #5:
Top the pancakes with your favorite fruits and the 2tbsp of sugar free maple syrup.
