Healthier French Toast

This healthier french toast is a delicious low-cal alternative that tastes just like traditional french toast!!

Ingredients:

3 slices Lower Calorie Bread ( I used Nature's Harvest Light Multigrain 40 calorie slices, but I also like Dave's Killer Bread Thinly Sliced)

2 Egg Whites

1/4 tsp Cinnamon

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/4 cup milk ( I used Silk Unsweetened Coconut Milk that is 11 calories per 1/4 cup)
1 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup

Directions:

Step #1:

In a shallow dish whisk the egg whites, cinnamon, vanilla, and milk.

Step #2:

Heat up a nonstick pan or a pan sprayed lightly with oil.

Step #3:

Soak both sides of each slice in the egg mixture and cook both sides on medium heat until both sides are a golden brown color.

Step #5

Serve with maple syrup and desired toppings
