Ingredients:

Dough:

1 cup (120g) whole wheat flour

1 1/2 tsp (6g) baking powder

1 cup (227g) Plain Greek Yogurt

Egg wash:

1 egg

1 tsp water

Toppings:

1/2 cup (56g) lowfat mexican blend shredded cheese

1/2 cup (125g) tomato sauce

Directions:

Step #1:

Mix together your dough ingredients in a large bowl. You may have to use your hands. If the mixture is too sticky or too dry, feel free to adjust the yogurt to flour ratio.

Step #2:

Separate your dough into 10 balls. Then roll each into a bagel shape. Lay these out on a prepared baking tray.

Step #3:

Prepare your egg wash, then lightly coat each bagel with the egg wash.

Step #4:

Bake the bagels at 425F for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown.

Step #5:

After the bagels are fully cooked, slice them in half and then top each with about 1 tsp of sauce and 1 tsp of cheese. Then place them back in the oven on the broil setting at 375F until the cheese melts.
